FIRST EDITION. Printing by William M. Cheney, lithography and paper by George Kinney (The Castle Press), binding by Bela Blau. William Cheney was a Los Angeles printer and publisher whose career spanned over 50 years. Cheney was widely recognized as one of the printing greats of the twentieth-century, and was given an award by the Miniature Book Society in 1987 for being a "pioneer in designing and printing fine miniature books and California's most prolific printer of miniatures."
