Miniature Book. 1 15/16 x 1 5/8 inches. 32 pp. The text consists of words and typographic ornaments related to cats, printed on goldenrod colored paper, partially unopened; text clean, unmarked. Orange cloth, printed paper spine and front cover labels, printed dust-jacket; binding square and tight, top edge of dust-jacket bruised. Glen Dawson's copy without distinguishing marks. RGKK819-132. Very Good. LIMITED EDITION of "about" 100 copies, printed on the Pearl at the Kitemaug Press. A fun bit of drollery featuring kitty cats. Bradbury lists this as the tenth miniature book printed by Frank J. Anderson at his private press in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The press name comes from the Mohegan Indian word meaning "the place of good fishing." This book was printed on Anderson's 5 x 7 Pearl treadle press. Anderson moved to Spartanburg in 1966 to work as a librarian at Wofford College, where he established the Wofford Library press and taught printing to college students.
