Stiff plain paper wrappers with a printed handmade paper covering; binding square and tight. SA1019-002. Fine. NO LIMITATION STATED, printed as a Miniature Book Society Keepsake, Conclave XIII in Pasadena, CA, August 1995. In the text Stahlecker remarks: "I pursue the Japanese papermaking tradition. The product is often strong but delicate, translucent and versatile. Bringing paper into being from plant material is part of the allure for me. And a particular intent in plants as materials, metaphors, shapes, forms and colors, in architecture, gardens, food, medicine, textiles and wilderness is the other facet of my equation."
