Rockefeller (1839-1937) constructed Rockefeller Center in the early 1930s as a "city within a city," and by the mid-1940s it was already fully rented. The Rockefeller Center housed the Rainbow Room & Grill, NBC studios, the "House of Homes" 3-story home decor shop, and the New York Museum of Science and Industry, and Radio City Music Hall. This brochure promotes the NBC Television Tour; July 1, 1941 marks the date of the beginning of the NBC Television Studio. Not listed in Worldcat.
