Two-toned cloth, clear plastic dust jacket, printed paper spine label; binding square and tight. Index card laid in regarding the binding of this volume. Very Good. Hudson's Bay Company was an English fur trading company. Sir George Simpson was its Governor-in-Chief during its most powerful years. Along with the main text, this volume includes a narrative of voyages to Sitka, the Sandwich Islands, and Okhotsk, sketches of journeys across America, Asia, and Europe. This edition was edited, corrected typographically, with sketches of visits and journeys made outside of California, and with a foreword, new division synopses, and an ample index, by Thomas C.
