Orfeo Tamburi (1910-1994) was an Italian painter. He studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome and made his first trip abroad to study and work in Paris in 1936. Tamburi exhibited internationally, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York in the mid 1950s. This is one of many important theoretical essays and books on art published by Gino Severini, the Italian futurist painter, throughout his career.
