Printed paper over flexible boards, titling on front and spine in red; binding square and tight, minor toning and shelf wear. Loosely laid in is a single bifold, printed on the front only, explaining the publication in English. Muir Dawson's copy. Very Good. Set in De Roos Roman, Italic and Semibold types designed by A. H. de Roos. Printed at the Typefoundry Amsterdam and designed by D. Dooijes. Contains the text of an address delivered by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce for France in Paris, April 17th, 1953. Beyen played an important role in the creation of the European Economic Community, and is regarded as one of the founding fathers of the European Union.
