Parchment-backed boards, printed paper top cover label; binding square and tight, spine toned, small spots on front and rear joints are common to this publication, small chip from corner of label. Very Good. This publication is Helen Gentry’s first publication. Helen Gentry was a master printer and self-taught book designer, and a pioneer in producing fine books for children. Helen Gentry was co-founder and part owner of the publishing firm, Holiday House, the first American publishing company dedicated solely to children's books.
