Map. No date, but circa 1930. 26 1/2 x 21 3/4 inches. Folds down to 8 1/4 x 3 3/4 inches. Printed on the recto, with just one panel printed on the verso with the title; text clean, unmarked. Fine. "Map of City of Riverside, California, 'The Birthplace of the Navel Orange in America'" titled on the map when folded. Compiled and copyrighted by H. D. Bradley at Riverside, California, provided complimentary by the Riverside County Chamber of Commerce. A fine example of a cadastral map for Riverside California, showing a comprehensive register of the real estate boundaries of Riverside, including subdivisions and streets, and indexes of city streets and streets outside the city. Scale: 1 mile is 2 1/2 inches. The map shows Central Junior High School which opened in 1928; but does not show Highway 91, which was extended to Riverside in the 1940s. 3 copies Worldcat.
