The Young Communist League USA was a communist youth organization in the United States. The stated aim of the League was the development of its members into Communists, through studying Marxism-Leninism and through active participation in the struggles of the American working class. The 1930s was a period of the Young Communist League's greatest growth; it may have had as many as members 12,000 members in New York City alone by 1939. The Los Angeles office of the YCL is listed at 224 S. Spring Street in this brochure; the YCL still has offices in Los Angeles in 2017.
