Very Good. This map shows the extent of the Plumas National Forest. Plumas National Forest was designated in 1907 as a response to intense logging in the area. This map was compiled from U. S. Geological Survey, G. L. O., Forest Service, and other surveys. Worldcat records 1 copy of the 1922 issue of this map, at the Library of Congress; not in the California State Library opac. This map was reissued on a regular basis beginning in 1916; this 1922 version is the earliest one available in the trade.
