[28] pp. Decorative initial on title in terra cotta, verse numbers in red, opening initial printed on gold background, eight decorative initials in black and white, ten woodcuts in terra cotta and black, special printer's device in black and terra cotta all by Mallette Dean, colophon printed in terra cotta; text clean, unmarked. Quarter red cloth, decorative paper over boards, printed paper spine label, no dust-jacket; binding square and tight, the paper covers and labels are a bit toned, light shelf wear. Very Good. Printed from Rudolf Koch's Bibel Gotisch type on French handmade paper. One of the "Fifty Books of the Year;" also included in the Exhibition of Western Books (Rounce & Coffin Club).
